These Terms of Service govern your use of the website huskypropainting.com and your engagement with Husky Pro Painting for painting services in Redding, CA and surrounding areas. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

Husky Pro Painting provides residential and commercial exterior and interior painting services in Redding, California and Shasta County. We are licensed with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and fully insured. The specific scope of work, pricing, and schedule for each project is defined in a separate written estimate and contract provided before any work begins.

2. Estimates

Estimates provided by Husky Pro Painting are free and carry no obligation to proceed. Estimates are based on an in-person site visit and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Final pricing may vary from an estimate if conditions discovered during the project differ materially from what was visible during the initial site visit (e.g., hidden wood rot discovered upon paint removal). Any scope changes are communicated and agreed upon in writing before additional work is performed.

3. Payment Terms

Standard payment terms for residential projects:

• A deposit of up to 10% of the project total may be required upon contract signing to reserve your project date and cover material costs. California law limits contractor deposits to 10% of the contract price or $1,000, whichever is less.
• Progress payments may be requested at defined milestones for larger projects.
• Final payment is due upon project completion and your acceptance of the finished work.

We accept payment by cash, check, or electronic transfer. Payment schedules for commercial projects are negotiated individually and documented in the project contract.

4. Warranty

Husky Pro Painting provides a 5-year workmanship warranty on exterior painting projects and a 2-year workmanship warranty on interior painting projects. This warranty covers:

• Peeling, blistering, or flaking paint caused by defective application or workmanship.
• Visible lap marks, runs, or missed areas identified within the warranty period.

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by extreme weather events, acts of nature, or impacts.
• Paint failure caused by pre-existing structural issues (water intrusion, foundation movement) not related to painting workmanship.
• Normal fading due to UV exposure beyond the expected product life cycle.
• Work performed by other contractors after our project completion.

To file a warranty claim, contact us at (530) 777-6573 with a description of the issue and photos. We will schedule an inspection within 5 business days.

5. Client Responsibilities

For us to complete your project safely and on schedule, we ask that you:

• Provide reasonable access to the work areas during scheduled project hours.
• Secure or remove pets from work areas for safety.
• Ensure utilities (water and electricity) are available during project days.
• Communicate any known issues with the property (previous water damage, known structural issues) before work begins.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

You may cancel a scheduled project with at least 72 hours advance notice without penalty. Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid to cover mobilization costs already incurred. We reserve the right to reschedule projects due to weather conditions that would negatively affect paint adhesion or application quality. In such cases, we will notify you as early as possible and reschedule at no additional cost.

7. Website Use

While we make every effort to keep information accurate and current, we make no warranties about the completeness or accuracy of website content. Pricing and availability are subject to change. Husky Pro Painting is not responsible for any reliance on website information without obtaining a written estimate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by California law, Husky Pro Painting's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from our services or these terms shall be resolved in Shasta County, California.
